Room for a kitten: where to start?
How many days a kitten adapts to a new home will also depend on your preparation. By the time the kitten moves in, the following things should already be prepared in your house:
Cat tree tower house ;
Scratching post;
Toys;
Towels;
Tray, scoop and filler (it is better if the toilet is with filler);
Food bowls;
Hygiene products (odor eliminator, napkins for cleaning wool, shampoo);
Food for kittens (first find out what the breeder fed the kitten - in the first days you will have to serve the usual food);
In order to quickly familiarise the cat with their new toilet, take a handful of litter from the breeder, and a toy/towel which the mother's scent has rubbed off on.
In the first few days, it is better to limit your cat to one room. In that room it is best to put down all of it's necessities - food, water, and their toilet. Just try to seperate the food and water, from the toilet otherwise they may not eat.
Limiting space is a great way to minimize stress after a move. After your pet has familiarized themselves with the room, the space allowed can be increased and over time, only then can their food and water be moved to where you'd like to keep them.
